SoftGripping gripper fingers are ideal for handling delicate and irregularly shaped products. They provide a gentle yet secure grip and are optimized for use in the packaging, food, and automation industries.

GorillaFinger SoftActuator - For mesh, large and heavy objects

GorillaFinger SoftGripper in action
Comparison to the HumanFinger SoftActuator
Compared to our smaller finger size, the GorillaFingers are for larger and heavier objects. In addition to net goods, cabbages, bottles and melons are good targets for this finger shape.Here is a series of pictures that create a size comparison:
Bags, net packed goods and melons
This gripper is mainly used for gripping bags, sacks and large fruits and vegetables. Customer examples include apple bags and pineapples. The large, powerful fingers grip around the objects and also manage to grab bags with: Apples, carrots, potatoes and onions.
Example application: Heavy bag and net packed goods.
This gripper was used in the white paper series addressing the question of what a gripper for heavy bagged goods should look like. Special attention was paid to the irregular shape of bagged goods. A well-suited gripper must therefore adapt to the shape of the object and have a certain degree of canting that is gentle on the product.
